This is a 3d model of a dry tree with snow.

Render is done with integrated 3ds Max mental ray engine.
No 3rd party plugin needed.
I also included a non-illuminated 3ds Max version with standard materials (if you do not use mental ray).
In this version with standard materials materials may appear different and will need to adjust the values of displacement and the values of materials depending on the rendering engine chosen for rendering your scene.
Lighting is included only in 3ds Max version. In other formats materials may appear different and will need to adjust the values of displacement and the values of materials depending on the rendering engine chosen for rendering your scene.
If you want to get the trunk without snow it is possible by replacing the maps in the color slot with the single map of the cortex based.
